Is it the elephant next door, or the herd of elephants coming over the horizon that is of greater consequence to Canadian real estate markets?
As the fallout from subprime mortgage lending practices in the U.S. creep across the border into Canada it is apparent the elephant next door cannot be forgotten. Nevertheless news about foreign investment in Canadian property and real estate companies is increasingly evident as is news about Canadian pensions funds and companies investing outside North America.
The RENX Global Property Newsletter is intended to become a media for Canadian real estate professionals to become better informed about global real estate markets. . As U.S. real estate news is covered in considerable detail in RENX Commercial Newsletter the RENX Global will focus more on real estate investments and activity originating from other parts of the world, the ‘herd of elephants on the horizon’.
This is the first issue of the RENX Global Property Newsletter. Initially it will be published monthly and distributed to our Commercial and Residential subscribers. In 2008, RENX intends to create a separate email list for RENX Global.
